I’m going to create an “app” (for Android/iOS/web) from Smith’s Bible Dictionary.

I created an eBook for the nook – but it just doesn’t work very well.

I’m going to have more time to update this next week (Fridays would be a good time to check) …

What Maisie Knew Cover

“James continued the more involved, psychological approach to his fiction with What Maisie Knew (1897), the story of the sensitive daughter of divorced and irresponsible parents. The novel has great contemporary relevance as an unflinching account of a wildly dysfunctional family.”

(thank you wikipedia – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_James)

Princess of Mars Cover

Free audio book (mp3) of “A Princess of Mars”

Broken up into 3 minute segments, and (hopefully) obvious file sequences (1a.mp3 is the first file, 1b.mp3 is the second file, … 8f.mp3 is the last file). The audio is acceptable – but I’m working on higher quality files …

Call of the Wild

From Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_London):
“John Griffith “Jack” London (born John Griffith Chaney, January 12, 1876 – November 22, 1916) was an American author, journalist, and social activist. He was a pioneer in the then-burgeoning world of commercial magazine fiction and was one of the first fiction writers to obtain worldwide celebrity and a large fortune from his fiction alone. He is best remembered as the author of Call of the Wild and White Fang, both set in the Klondike Gold Rush, as well as the short stories “To Build a Fire”, “An Odyssey of the North”, and “Love of Life”. He also wrote of the South Pacific in such stories as “The Pearls of Parlay” and “The Heathen”, and of the San Francisco Bay area in The Sea Wolf.”

Ford Madox Ford

Free eBook of the classic novel – from wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Madox_Ford)
One of his most famous works is The Good Soldier (1915), a novel set just before World War I which chronicles the tragic lives of two “perfect couples” using intricate flashbacks. In a “Dedicatory Letter to Stella Ford” Ford reports that a friend pronounced The Good Soldier “the finest French novel in the English language!” ‘
